How to Purchase Images

All requests for the purchase of photographic materials from The College of Physicians of Philadelphia must be made in writing using this form. The same form addresses permission to use the material for publication or other purposes. For a schedule of fees, click here. Use this form if:

  • You are requesting the museum/library staff to take the image(s) for you or
  • You are requesting an image currently in a digital database or in another available medium.
Requests submitted with missing, insufficient, or incorrect information will incur delays.

In the event that requested materials are not currently available, new photography can be requested. Imaging Services will work with clients to identify and comply with needs.

*Although requests may be submitted via email, users must also submit the signed request via postal mail.

Requests will be acknowledged within five working days.
